DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO) |
- Stay updated of local and global EHS regulations and ensure organizational compliance including develop and implement programs to address regulatory requirements. - Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigation, implement safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. - Develop and maintain emergency response plans to address potential incidents, Coordinate drills and training sessions to ensure preparedness. - Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near misses; Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. - Develop and document local EHS procedures, aligning them with global policies, and maintaining a comprehensive record of EHS documentation for reference and audits. - Establish and implement an EHS Management System in alignment with ISO 45001 and ISO14001. - Develop and oversee waste management programs to minimize environmental impact. - Collaborate on sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with waste management, GHG reduction and water consumption global requirements. |

work experience requirements |
- Minimum experience of 5 years in the same field. - Proven experience in EHS roles with a focus on regulatory compliance. - Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures. - Familiarity with emergency response planning and incident investigation. - Track record of successfully developing and implementing EHS programs. - Effective communication and collaboration with regulatory agencies. |
